Sign up for 2024 CSA Box!

June 27th – August 29th

This year you will find our produce at Edible Acres Cafe, Agri Park Farmer’s Market, Invermere Farmer’s Market and Kimberley Farmer’s Market.

We are entering this growing season with excitement and a huge amount of gratitude for being farmers in the Columbia Valley. We continue to proudly renew our organic certification each year and continue to learn more and more about growing organic food.

We are heading into our 16th year of growing veggies! Our fingers have been in the dirt already, seeding and transplanting in our basement. As we do this, we are dreaming of all the fresh produce that we get to grow again this year. We are still very passionate about growing FOOD and FLOWERS! Food is vital and we are certainly honoured to be growing so much food to feed our community.

Working Shares

Interested in learning about food production, how to make your garden more productive or just simply want to get your hands in the dirt, then our working share option might be perfect for you.

If you are interested in getting your hands dirty and learning all about farming in exchange for free certified organic veggies, send an email to lin@winderberry.ca. We ask that you work 4 hours a week starting in mid-May until September. You will be working with our farm team ~ weeding, transplanting, harvesting and prepping veggies for sale.

What is a CSA?

A CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) is model of agriculture in which members pay up front for a share of the coming year’s harvest. Members receive a weekly box of produce throughout the growing season. By paying up front, members help farmers by providing them with early season cash flow and with a guaranteed market. Members benefit by receiving fresh, local and nutritious produce and gain an understanding of where their food comes from and how it is grown.

Why Support CSA?

  • Know who grows your food. Direct connection between the members and us, your local farmers.
  • Have fun in the kitchen! Expand your culinary horizons. Try things that you typically wouldn’t buy.
  • TASTE! Everything is fresh, in season and at its peak.
  • Shop Local! You support the local economy and your membership keeps your food dollars in the community.
  • You support local, small scale, sustainable agriculture.
  • Know where your food is grown. We welcome all members to come out to the farm to get their hands dirty or just simply enjoy the bountiful landscape.

I LOVE the CSA and weekly fresh vegetables from Edible Acres. Having the vegetables on hand encourages me to use all of the healthy, organic ingredients in my family’s meals. I believe it is important to support our local farmers, Lin, Oliver and their team, as they work to provide the valley with excellent fresh organic vegetables and herbs (plus I have an excuse to stop in the cafe every week!).
